A couple of coats of thinned white glue were applied. Some lead shot inserted into the nose. Swing line attached to wing. And we are ready to fly. Slightly breezy today. Test glides with balance weight but no string were OK, but not as good as the Cloud Buster.

We came upon this 3-vu of the Yak 15 that all but jumped off the page asking to be built as a profile 'swinger'. So we scaled it up to a 14 inch wingspan and copied it to a piece of manila card stock. Did some figuring on the cardstock to find out how much to enlarge the horizontal tail and drew in some lines for alignment and placement of the flying surfaces and a few other tweaks. Next is to cut out the patterns and trace them and begin cutting balsa.
