I cut two parallel lines the width of the plastic, and the diameter of the inner circle in the plastic. I notched between the two lines and press-fit the "propellor" onto the cone. Again, it is removable for transport. The tailbone was then attached to the fuselage using a butterfly clip.

Using Ted's tail cone, I had a another friend cut out a 12"+ diameter piece of clear plastic. I painted the prop to look like it was spinning. I probably should be a bit more subtle, but with the yellow warning strips, it came out pretty effective.

Attached to the plane. The keyhole attachment is very solid, yet easy to remove for transport. You can see the footballs and antenna in place as well.

Parts are coming together. I attached the hard point body to the wing using screws. I cut keyhole slots in the wings, insert the screw heads and slid them back. Worked out great. Very solid attachment.

Cardstock fins. I drilled holes for small dowels to peg into the missile rails for better security.

My tailbone is taped in place, in anticipation of finishing Ted's tail cone.

The foam tailbone, primed and painted. It is surprisingly sturdy now. I may have to try this with a fuselage sometime.

Hanging at the museum. Maybe I should change the category from "Parked" to "Flying".

The museum was getting anxious so I got it prepped to hang without some of the hardware. Ted was helping me by turning some bombs on his lathe.

I apologize for hogging the site, but I'm cleaning files and getting ready for a new build. James, could you add an ARF F-16 to the list? Thanks.
