The only kit wood I've used on the wings or tail was the leading edge of the wing. The theory is for a bit of strength when it undoubtedly plummets to the earth and because its in front of the C of G for a bit of extra nose weight. Sarcasm aside, the whole thing feels pretty light compared to the FW190 at the same point so I'm hopefully going in the right direction.

This is my second build after an FW190. I built the first kit with all the included parts and then found it was very heavy and didnt fly too good. This website has helped me no end and so on this build I have purchased lighter balsa and although I am using kit wood for the formers I am lightening them. The keel has also been thinned as shown.
