After a touch-n-go I was turning and climbing when I saw a helicopter in my planned path so I reversed my turn but got into a step turn and didn't get the wings leveled in time. A wing tip touched the ground and the fuse tore off. |

He got out of flying in WW2 when someone stole his C/L plane off his rack but has picked it up again at the age of 87. |
