I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

The clear covering helped me get the servos installed w/o having to cut off any of the covering as I was going to do. I read to apply a very thin coat of paint and allow to dry 24 hours, so here goes. The thin coat of paint added about a gram of weight.

Wing weighed 39.4 grams before covering and is 50.3 grams fully covered, which works out to around 34 gsm. I need to patch some small areas with wrinkles, but that is ok as I need to get access to install the forgotten servos. :o

Aileron covering has been fixed. The test block has been painted with 4 layers if thinned Liquitex. Brush marks are minimal, but an airbrush would be better.

45F here and it was hailing an hour ago, but you won't hear me complain. 70-80F is good for me and 90F or higher is just uncalled for.

Now we can tell that the aileron on the right was the first one I did and the one on the left is nearly perfect. The one on the right won't shrink anymore, but a little more heat on the left aileron should clear up those little wrinkles.

Covering the ailerons with Doculam (1.5 mil laminating film). Everything looks great from this angle, but that is the danger of a clear covering.

Joining the wing halves and adding dihedral. Now I'm glad I got the 36" long building board, at the time I wasn't planning on building a plane with a 36.25" wingspan.

I ended up with a left and a right wing half, that's a good sign. Rather than add webbing between spars the wing is actually build around an I-beam. These wings are very strong and have no droop.
