It's starting to take shape. This, revised upper wing has laser cut parts, all the rest hand cut.

Finally got to the fueslage. I misplaced my small try-square that day, found it later.

Printing parts on paper and sticking them to the balsa is a lot better than back in the days of carbon paper, but this is another thing that goes a lot quicker in laser cut.

Have the plans redrawn and am now working on the lower wing. Things like this strut pocket will work much better in laser cut.

My first try at the wing. This is my first project using a drafting program. I'm never going back to T-square and triangle! The reference I was using wasn't accurate and the wing outline is wrong. Also, I didn't like the placement of the spars, rib spacing and the airfoil I was using so, "back to the drawing board!"

With 14 inch loop of 1/8 inch flat FIA tan rubber it weighs 28.5 grams. Balances without any ballast. (Like, I could take credit for that.)

Almost done. Still have to finish the struts and the shock cord covers. I can't seem to build anything light any more. With the finiching bits it will come out at a rather porky 25 grams without rubber. Add 4 grams for the motor and I have built another 30 gram model. Better stick to larger models or try some foamies.
