My first try at the wing. This is my first project using a drafting program. I'm never going back to T-square and triangle! The reference I was using wasn't accurate and the wing outline is wrong. Also, I didn't like the placement of the spars, rib spacing and the airfoil I was using so, "back to the drawing board!" |

With 14 inch loop of 1/8 inch flat FIA tan rubber it weighs 28.5 grams. Balances without any ballast. (Like, I could take credit for that.) |

Almost done. Still have to finish the struts and the shock cord covers. I can't seem to build anything light any more. With the finiching bits it will come out at a rather porky 25 grams without rubber. Add 4 grams for the motor and I have built another 30 gram model. Better stick to larger models or try some foamies. |
