I just noticed that the P-38 decals are slightly different, I'll have to do a little research to find out why. Update: I don't see any variants like the smaller decal on the P-38 shown here: http://www.militaryplanes.co.uk/a-mark.html so it is either an issue with the decals or the angle and light in this photo.
