David Duckett 19-May-13 09:46 The tape will not remove either. David Duckett 21-May-15 06:25 Update: Note the date of this post. Yesterday I got a call from Barry Kaye, one of Bob Kaye's brothers. He and a couple of other brothers just got this, still packed, from Bob's widow and its existence was a complete surprise to them. There is a DFC, Distinguished Flying Cross, associated with this plane but it has not been presented. Barry believes Bob was keeping it secret until the presentation was made so it would be a surprise to all concerned. As the model was still packed with the peanuts inside it is unknown if Bob even saw the painting that was included. Barry was highly complimentary of the model and plane and it's good to know their fate. I'll share any further developments. Please sign in to comment on this image.
