He purchased the plane from the LHS 2 years ago but didn't know anyone that flew till he saw me browsing the VA one day. The engine has never been started and he has never flown before. SteveM 17-Jan-09 17:17 The NexSTAR didn't get to fly due to a bad elevator servo and an incorrect aileron servo horn, but we ran a tank of fuel through the engine and got a lot of information on its care and feeding. Later when the fog had cleared I sent up the Aero-Star and let him try his hand via a buddy box. Unfortunately my elevator was too far out of trim for the buddy box to trim it so every time he took over it would go into a climb.
