Another one of your beautiful and innovative models for us to admire. It has some beautifully engineered details making it one of a kind!! JFB!

Poppy...Thanks, it was the extra effort by the, evil , balsa eating cat, that made this build possible.

I like this model very much - are you still building John?
John M Oshust23-May-18 21:09
Mr G. The Baboon is still on the modeling table and in production. I had a stroke a few days before last Christmas. Fortunately I was very lucky. Only in the hospital for three days. In 24 hrs I returned to normal and was set free. Now I have a neurologist and a cardiologist. If my condition remains stable both physicians will cut me loose in about 6 months. I have dodged the bullet yet again. As such, building model aero planes is not very high on my life list. Cutting meadows, spending time in the garden, being with Willie, my Lab, have priority. I have been giving models away to friends and family. May use some as targets! Possibly I will finish the Baboon in winter but the thought of building wings again is repulsive. Monotony at it’s highest level!

Sorry to hear that Mr.O, but happy that you are recovering well. Some of the stuff does make us realign our priorities. Be well.

Thanks guys. It is nice to still be here, especially as I seem none the worse for wear. Every day of the twilight years is a new and exciting adventure!
