I'm having trouble using the filler, but I can see a mistake that I've been making by looking at yours. I've been trying to just minutely fill in a small area, but I see, that the best way to do it, is to fill not just the depression, but the area around it also. I've been trying, in my mind, how to do the rear cockpit area, how did you do it? I've watched your build, but I still don't have a solution in my mind. I'll let you know the results. sly812 12-Feb-08 03:58 hi sweet, first i temp installed that canopy to make note where the concaved area was situated, then fill the area with 1.5 mm balsa to match. After that i used strips of balsa to fill that gaps, then mirco fill it all. Sand to make the final fitting of the canopy snug. The key is to not make the gaps between the balsa to large or the mircofill will have a hard time staying put when the final sanding is carried out..
