My dad had a stash of balsa models in the closet and I remember asking him if I could build this one. I must have been all of 7 or 8! I never finished it. Probably too young to attempt it. But this has brought back a flash of great memories! Thanks for posting your build! Looking at the plan, this must be an early 1960's kit, because the Guillow's address a the bottom of the page does not have a zip code! Do you know what vintage? I'm always interested in how the wood quality of kits has changed over the years. BTW - If you want to scratch build, most of the out of manufacture Guillow's model plans are posted on OuterZone.co.uk.
