Diels kits are no longer made and while that may not start an unending thread about sellers on Ebay, I.E. the Guillows B-29, they are already in short supply. I found this combo for $10.:-)

I chatted with David Diels a couple of days ago... He seems to be cooking right along...? http://dielsengineeringinc.com

I stand corrected. Good, I couldn't stand another EBay/Guillows B-29 saga. The folks building Guillows kits wanting them to fly on rubber bands would be wise to check out Diels kits, or Dumas kits, to see how it's done. Engineering strictly for rubber power makes a lot of difference. And.....Dumas makes all sizes, too. Diels kits are certainly more difficult but well worth the effort.

Well, I'm partially right. Many of the kits are no longer made and will not be again while some have been changed to laser cut versions and some will be in the future.

I don't think you can get those cool double kits anymore either. But, Dave's laser kits are superb... But, even when you cut out your own parts, his balsa qulity is top shelf... I will admit tho, with my fumble fingers, these kits are awful small by my standards... But when you blow up his plans, they're a dream...

I just found this thread. I have just released the laser cut version of the Hawker Thyphoon now kit # 29-LC. May be too late but have introductory price until March 31, 2015. See my web site for details. dielsengineeringinc.com click on the special offers page.

As for the rest of the line I continue to convert kits that have been designed on my computer, basically kits over kit #25 (which is now #25-LC). I am looking into finding a printwood supplier. Anyone have any suggestions? I know laser cut kits are the future but at least a handful of my old printwood kits were big sellers and I was looking to order more printwood from my former supplier when they suddenly stopped providing that service. The reason that your kits are in demand, the printwood ones, is that you use high quality balsa. It is a pleasure to cut these parts out and your instructions are top shelf. Please keep up the good work.

Penn Valley Hobby Shop re-kits many kits no longer made. I have purchased several Todays hobbies kits from them and have always found the wood of excellent quality, same as the originals. Although I have no experience with any other kits from them I would expect the same quality of wood. I suggest you contact them, best by email.
