Great catch! Didn't someone make a kit for those back in the 50's?

This one has been rebuilt from top to bottom - amazing finish and the cockpit is striking - stunning job all round!

There was a large fire about 24 miles away Brian, but all OK here at the moment. We live on a ridge at 2600 feet and can see much that is going on, West and North West from us, fire-wise.

The Cal-Fire aircraft were out and about much of the day yesterday - the AirFest, at KGOO, had to be put on-hold several times through the day.

Never knew that a SeaBee would ever be used for amything other than private civilian use. Just goes to show we learn something new everyday.

This is a great pic, Dad. Very cool aircraft. Powered by a Corvette engine (geared, eek!).
