On the engine I used very thin black tape in those grooves with the pistons - impossible to paint :) Can't quite see what you have done - maybe you have have already done that... poppy 23-Jan-14 15:55 Actually the stitching material was part of the vacu-formed kit parts. I had to sand almost razor thin to get it to look right. Engine cylinders were painted black, then a thin wash of silver added to fins. They look almost completely silver in the picture.
