The lens has stabilizers built in which certainly help because it's fairly heavy. It's best on a tripod but I usually just hold it, as this is.

Clouds do make for the best shots of sunrises and sunsets. And also for moonrises and moonsets. Great shots!

Yes it's a Great Lakes, one of the newer ones so to say. It has a Lycoming engine. Most likely made in the 70's.
