The best part is you don't need hundreds of photos to appreciate it.

That is beautiful. Way beyond our hangars.

Clouds do make for the best shots of sunrises and sunsets. And also for moonrises and moonsets. Great shots!

Yes it's a Great Lakes, one of the newer ones so to say. It has a Lycoming engine. Most likely made in the 70's.

I don't know, just one of many buzzing around here.

I agree with Don C. Looks like a Great Lakes trainer.

Great Lakes Trainer?

Thank you. I believe our brains are hard wired to try to make sense of what we see but i paint abstracts which don't really have an identifiable subject. The only objective is to make something pleasing to the eye and the titles are really no more than a means of identification. When I look at my works hanging and stacked throughout the house I see boxes of paint which allow me to spend hours enjoying them, just letting my eyes wander without really seeing anything except colors. Reality lives in the next room.

Whew, turn it 90 deg clock wise, it's driving my brain nuts. Awesome though!

Thank you. The dark gray is the south rim.

Great painting David - where is the viewpoint, is it from the North Rim?
