| Thank you. The plans for these kits show only a very simple gear so that may be the reason I left it off the first time I built this kit. These days I use a plastic model for reference. Jets generally have a bit more complicated gear and over the years they terrorized me until I learned the right approach to making them. Now I'm planning to build the F-18 again so I'm trying to get prepared. |

Even so, all is faired into the fuselage smoothly - the little interceptor is a nifty looking jet for sure. I always thought its successor, the F20 got short shrift |

| The previous image in this thread is the model built 13 years ago. I posted it again to show something awhile back. There is only one thread no matter how many times the kit is built. Check the dates. |

| This is looking really great Dave! I've always loved the F-5. to my eye, it is a sweet looking air frame. Simple and sleek. Can't wait to see how you finish this one. |
