Thanks guys. The sudden appearance of Spring has delayed my Lewis gun production. I hope that when I have an opportunity to continue, I can remember the fabrication sequence required to produce a twin

Lewis gun fabrication commenced this day. Two magazines for tandem Lewis guns.

Definitely worth the effort.

It looks like a refurbished experiment with the rear cockpit of a tandem two seat trainer aircraft - they must have tried a lot of design changes in the early days of aviation ...

Aftermarket Scarff ring on a rear cockpit. Note the instruments. The body hugging curved seat back.

I cannot say all had a chair but one photo I came across clearly shows the body hugging snuggling back.

In the field two seater biplanes were sometimes fitted with a Scarff ring. The Baboon, my fantasy build, is one. While searching for information I cam across a photo that shows the rear Scarff ring in a pit with gauges.
