I loved going flying in a Piper Cherokee Arrow II - from Gillespie to Lake Havasu back in the day...but you can see out of a Cherokee pretty well. This thing...I dunno man

Very "cool" - need to get in a fly this machine! (for those with the "guts".....)

Dagnabbit Heywood ! - I hope you guys didn't contract out that goldarn missile sub paint, to those doggone Chinese !

Same stuff we secretly painted the Chinese missile subs with so we could track 'em from space

Is that that paramagnetic, thermochromic chameleon paint they have today ?

so that's it - it is complete. the Super Solution from Dumas kit #401 is a great kit that builds up into a decent display model. Given the quality of the materials I have no doubt it would also make a great flying model too.

the different properties of this green paint are blowing my mind... I still need to brace the tail but the wing and LG bracing are done.

flying wires installed - using the same fine wire and copper tubing as on the door hinges..the tubing made for an ok representation of the swedges

Don, right about the dust, an absolute PITA to remove once its in a spot like that.. My goal is to inspire creativity as I was inspired by other modelers from the beginning. That is my sole motivation in sharing these builds and photo's. To give something back, humbly and helpfully (I hope)

It you open it, it will just get dusty inside. Really hard to clean. You did a great job. The doors and canopy make me jealous.

mfg long before political correctness so I apologize in advance if anyone is offended by the caricature native north american as depicted on this vintage machine

someone had asked earlier if the pinball machine works..but I don't remember if it was on this forum or another - anyhoo - she works. Its actually a really fun game table. All the bells work and its from way before the transistor age so it is filled with hundreds of miles of wiring and mechanical relays and open wire wrapped resistors. An amazing amount of labor and materials went into these things - nickle catchers
