| The CL-415 can scoop up 1,621 US gallons (6,140 litres) of water in 12 seconds on a 1,350 foot run on water at 81 mph. It is marketed in the US and around the world as the "SUPER SCOOPER". |

| The Canadair CL-415 was introduced in 1993, and has a similar configuration to the Consolidated PBY Catalina. It was designed and built, though, specifically for forest fire fighting.
