we finally got some rain, but I think I would take some snow. not to much though.

Thanks, Brian. Not too hard. Chucked up a 5/16 dowel in the drill press, used a 4 way file and sandpaper. Just to make you feel better, we got about 8" of snow last night and it's starting again.

Kit uses decals for air intakes. Needed to improve that. Still needs openings. Thinking that one over.

Thanks. It will be the standard gloss black. Trim color, if any, will depend on Squadron I choose. There was very little, spinners, maybe a stripe somewhere.

Solid wood is really a challenge. Will watch this for sure. Good luck Don. With your experience, I know this will turn out really good.

I may own it. I've bought several of these built, on eBay. With time and care taken, these are really impressive models. I have one in 1/48 scale that is really nice. I need to built it, and way too many other models.

I looked it up. Quite impressive. One of my reference books has a picture of it in the jungle in '89. They are doing a fantastic job.

They are restoring one of these back to flying condition at Mid Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, PA.

Even though the box says P-61c, it's kind of a combination of a,b,and c models. I'm going with the "B", as the "C" never saw combat.

I've had this laying around for quite a while. Time to do it. IDon't know what happened to the one I did back in the 50's.
