Canoe paddles mounted on DCH 2 floats. Just in case.

Emergency power packs? Please explain?

Thanks and Heywooood yours is really looking good. Isn't it fun to align floats?

And each float must have a paddle - that is how you get to shore ... which, of course, he does ...

an amphibious assault on awesomeness !

And that is a very beautifully detailed Beaver Don!

Great pic of a proud hunter and his equally proud, "serious-eyed" gundog. There is an extra special bond between a man and his house pet, when he actually takes his dog out hunting. Sounds like "Red" really earned his keep. I'm sure you miss him a lot.

Ruffed grouse - northern Minnesota. I got 5, Red got 1. That was when I was thin and the moustache wasn't grey. By far the best dog I ever had.

good hunt don!

Hey Don, are those Franklin's grouse? Looks like you and your best friend had the ultimate day in the field, upland game bird hunting!

Pretty! I can't keep a feeder around here due to the woodpeckers and bees taking over.

Nice! They haven't made it back to NW Iowa yet.

DD,this is the first picture with the new camera. Aeronautical, of course.

John, tis was Red at 6 months in the Fall of '91. Grandson of my 1st Lab/Chessie cross. Walk into the room with a shotgun and he commenced his "happy dance". 6 years and we never lost a bird. Unfortunately he tried to retrieve one of my daughter's friend's car. Tried about 5 over the next 15 years, but never came close.

Sky, the answer to both is probably no. Once I get a really good picture I'll send it to his wife. Then we'll just take it from there.

Don, eyes still holding out. Will be posting the S.E. 5 on the stitching in a bit. Your Beaver looks great. Are you going to donate it to the family of the original pilot? Are they aware of it?

Clean work area. Feels weird. Ray, the next one is the Laird Solution. Won the 1930 Thompson Trophy race piloted by Speed Holman. I soloed at Holman Field in St. Paul,MN.

Thanks for the kind words, DD too. For years our friend and neighbor Dan Ross flew it for the MN DNR from our small lake. He also flew a Marine med evac chopper in Viet Nam.
