That and Tom Corbet, Space Cadet...man, are we dating ourselves!

Heywooood, I am flattered by your engine construction comment. . With your engine fabrication comment. With Poppy, now building in heaven, reduce the radial or rotary engine acolytes by one!

Haven't heard of Capt. Video in a while. Would just like to hear Froggie plunk his magic twanger one more time.

Me too. Ollie, some sort of one fanged cuddly creature. Kookla the nose and hockey hat and squeaky voice. Do you remember Winkey Dink? Captain Video and his space Rangers ?
hjlittman, Comment for image # 1201210 Jun 18 19:38
I go back to Kookla, Fran and Ollie.

WOW! That is a magnum opus! And, they accuse me of having OCD because my garden hose reel has a level winder.

I am fortunate to have Gumby to help with engine design and construction. His expertise is critical to power plant fabrication😋

I am this close to slicing up the nose of my airplane...but I have to be real - I cannot do what you do John...there might not be 5 guys on the planet who can
heywooood, Comment for image # 1201209 Jun 18 22:43
nothing would surprise me, John - all of the motors of yours I have seen just reek of avgas, oil, and exhaust...I don't know how you do it - even when I see how you do it..lol

Heywooood. HP I have no idea. If I remember correctly the number six cylinder had an oil leak after the install and the tear down and subsequent repair was not pleasent and time consuming.
heywooood, Comment for image # 1201209 Jun 18 21:40
John - What is the rated HP of your replica?..it looks better than the original
John M Oshust, Comment for image # 1201209 Jun 18 19:33
Heywooood. Fresh from Pratt and Whitney

Heywooood. I scratch built this radial for my Stearman. It was a blast building it!

LASTWOODSMAN, Comment for image # 1364217 Oct 17 22:08
And ... how about this most inspiring Stearman also.
