Clauson, USAAF, a member pf the greatest generation, who pased away last nignt eight weeks shy of his 93rd birthday. It is his C-46 I have been recreating this winter. I'll be gone for a while. First time to make make my own decals using Testors decal paper: Apparently I did not lay a heavy enough coat of fixative over the decals. TIghtened sphincter, dry mouth, etc. I found that laying a piece of paper towel saturated with white vinegar over the decal softened it enough to gently peel the remenants off with out damaging anything. Whew. Now I will print up some new decals and be sure to spray enough fixative on them. |
