The tail cone "turkey feathers" open and close on the real jet. Each feather is aluminum tape. I painted the wear areas with a smokey grey paint.

The Air National Guard shield is a file I found on their website. I drew the rest in Adobe Illustrator. They were printed on clear decal film.
