I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

If using spray paint, this does not apply. If using acrylic use something known as dry brush technique. Paint the initial coat using as little paint as you can. Very thin coats dry very quickly. Continue using thin coats until the color is pure, allowing each coat to dry completely.

IMPORTANT! Now use the rounded end object to press the outside edges of the tape again , pressing it firmly in place.

Always start with a new blade for masking work. Cut the tape where you marked it and peel the excess away.

Use a pencil to outline the area to remain masked. A pencil will seek its lowest point by itself so the outline will be what the mold is. Do this gently, sketching lightly instead of forcefully.

Being a short "how to" mask. Put masking tape in place. Use an object similar to the rounded end of a paint brush and press it around the insides of the frame. This forces the tape to form a better bond. Do not over do this. You want the tape to stay intact.

I am very happy with the balsa wood build, but I need more practice on painting and decal work. Loved this build and cannot wait to apply my lessons learned on the next plane!

Just need to add nose cone and rear tire. Not sure it if will fly, but I am glad to be nearing completion of this project.

Almost finished with this build. Work, life, vacation and distractions all took my time from this model.

The wing seemed to come out well, the dihedral is big (1.75 inches) and it looks pretty good.

Technically, I should not have made the cut on the trailing edge of the wing, but I am getting more used to working with a dihedral. As my confidence grows, mistakes like this are less intimidating.

Got to use my new balsa wood mitre to make the cuts. Not really a need, but very exciting to use a new tool/
