| To accomplish the change we made the following modifications. The wing platform was narrowed. A couple of 1/16 sq strips were attached to the bottom of the vertical tail at A. Notches were cut in the center ribs of the horizontal tail at B that would accept the strips. And capture strips were glued to the bottom of the horizontal tail that will slide over narrowed mounting platform. |

| Our latest refinement to our trusty Javelin is to change the tail mounting system to a slide on type. Initially, it was held in place with a rubber band as shown in this picture. |
