I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

I made the props from laminating 3 pieces of 3/16 balsa. Then carved and sanded to shape. The "HOW TO" section on this forum was a great help. Left and right assemblies are mirror because engines were counter-rotating to one another.

1 day build complete. This was a fun little diversion to work on while watching the Indy 500. I'll go watch the launch tomorrow, then back to the P-38.

A little break from the P-38. My friend asked me if I would build a model rocket for his kids since I'm "into that stuff". I say sure, No problem. Oh by the way...he says..."were launching it tomorrow, for Memorial Day." OK?... I guess...It's not like I'm racing the Ruskies to get a man into space, just a 1 day build. LOL! I'll post more picks tonight.

Gettin' there. Glad I tried this infill technique. Thank you for the help and advice DD. I should have this down for my next plane.

Probably need another coat of filler & more sanding. They're not smooth enough (divit free) yet.

The 2 fuselages have been sanded, wood filler applied, and sanded again.

Infill done on center nacelle. I had originally scalloped the formers before deciding to do the infill technique. So I needed to bevel the ends of the infill pieces extra long so they meet one another. I'll know better next time.
