After some crashes and rebuilding of the Guillows Cub that we had converted to swing control, we decided to junk the original fuselage and rebuild it as a profile version modified to to a TG-8. The wing and tail parts of the original will be retained.

A couple of coats of thinned white glue were applied. Some lead shot inserted into the nose. Swing line attached to wing. And we are ready to fly. Slightly breezy today. Test glides with balance weight but no string were OK, but not as good as the Cloud Buster.

Wings completed and ready for joining and forming the dihedral. The center section is the sliding wing joint which allows the wing to be removeable.
