Here she is after repairs and painting, can't see the repair job. After repairs and paint, 30 grams, go figure. Yes I will fly her again.

This picture the bird is at 30 grams. I decided to take it ourside for some trim flights. Well that did not go very well, beat it up pretty good. After a few days of looking at the mangled mess, I decided to do some repairs. I fixed everything and decided to paint it to hide my patch work.

Started building the Guillows BF-109 for the Yahoo Guillows Challenge. Used everything that came with the kit with no modifications.

Cut bottom of rib profile first. Snug blank into jig. Line up indicated leading edge (blue arrow...which is the only constant point on all these ribs) and trailing edge through rear corner.

James, here's what I used to cut the ribs...this time. Fairly rudimentary. Two "Sweeps" or "French Curves" and a simple jig to hold the blank. Blue tape is for photo. It'll change color magically throughout this "How to"!
