Yu guys were correct... not a big deal! The first is always the toughest, once you have the instructions written, subsequent tasks are easier. The bass has two eyes and a SNACK! Carlo has taken hold today...I need my fingers, five more tomorrow! |

One down six to go. For those keeping score...I need seven vents...The top two get two exhaust pipes for a total of nine. Methinks I can get another cut today, then Carlo will cause me to stop or hurt myself! |

This 13 in flight prop must be sanded more to scale and now I must cut tear drop holes on the cowl for the exhaust pipes....if I screw this up the Rat, and all the work goes down the toilet! |

I roughed out two rings from ply with a saw, glued them in place and then sanded them to the proper shape....made lots of saw dust! |

The Cleveland plan and the actual plane variants vary a bit in the shape of the front of the cowl. In order to be closer to scale a couple of rings of thin ply were added. |
