The vacu cover on the lower nose is provided in the kit. The exhaust stack opening was cut into the balsa. The cooling gills are card stock.

The wing fillet is heavy bond paper traced from the pattern on the plans; it fit perfectly. The wing root 20mm cannon access panels are made from card stock amd kit supplied vacu parts, and while not perfect they are adequate.
