I've painted the armored headrest and the cockpit interiorwith Tamiya XF-22 RLM Grey the standard Luftwaffe interior color and added a head cusion and red warning sign. |

The silicone is flexible to be pulled over the wire. The lower part of the landing gear will have to be finished on the wire |

The spinner looked to be a little on the small side so I added an 1/8th of an inch to it. I use 3/32 " Sullivan Silicone fuel line tubing to simulate landing gear struts with rings of maskiing tape.. |

I spent most of the last day or so adding small details to the fuselage. The Jelutong wood worked well on these small parts. The cooling gills, behind the exhausts (barely seen) are made of thin cardstock. |

Getting ready for the markings I went through my collection of decals to make sure I had the correct markings. I have to pick and choose from various kit and afte market sheets to get what I needed from an Aerographics Flitzer, Techmod, Peddinghaus and CAM sheets. I see a 1/24th sheet I buy it regardless of subject, You never know what can be useful. |

The landing gear wire is in place and the tail feathers and wing are tacked in place with masking tape. |
