At quite a weight expense for a freeflight model, I added 12 rocket rails and will later add up to 12 rockets to the rails. The rockets will definitly not helped with the flying characteristics, but this is all part of the challenge of a scale flying model.

I did the panel lines with a sharp pastel pencil and a straight edge. The chalk really sticks to untreated tissue.

The outside of the chalked tissue. The black side (left) makes the tissue a more realistic darker color but I prefer the less blotchy right side, done with blue.

To make the wings stronger I added a thin bamboo spar. The mid-point of the spar is cracked to match the dihedral and I will strengthen it with paper before covering the bottom.
