The wing feels like a heavy possicle stick, so I reduced the weight by drilling holes with my drill press. I placed a block of wood underneath. This eliminates tearout.

The fuselage is completed. The side keels have a lot of spring and if cemented as is, they would throught the fuselage out of alignment. So I crack them at an appropriated spot and reglue them when I cement the keel sides to the fuselage. I do that that to stringers, too or sometimes I soak them in water.

Completed fuselage. It's very light as the formers are 1/32 and all the strings were cut from contest balsa. This is a David Diels short kit.
