pfinn | Scratch Built Twinster | Build | 09-Jan-10 20:46 | | Views : 580 | Here's the "Simple, Stupid" dual rudder linkage. Made a small "Staple" with a loop and two opposite 90 deg. "Z" bends on the con. rod ends. I used overstreched guitar string for the wire. Adds more "Springy" because of the work hardening. |

pfinn | Scratch Built Twinster | Flying | 06-Jan-10 14:57 | | Views : 613 | I'm quite pleased with the flight characteristics of the Twintster. Wide speed envelope (kept on telling Jimmy to slow down for a picture!). Some things were just press fit i.e. motor mounts, lower rear struts (to adjust the stab angle of attack, decalage?) for final trimming. Now that I know it flies, it's time to beautify. Fuse pod, pilot (that's gonna be different to say the least!). |
