One nacelle complete. The grillwork is very rigid and just test fitted. Will be permanently installed as one of the Mossies final details, probably in 2009 at this rate. |

The plastic becomes mighty thin at the edges after sanding. Look close, the tabs were wonderful alignment strips and provided more area for glue up at seams. Priceless. |

After all trial fitting and shaping, the 1/16" balsa sheet is glued into position to reinforce thin nacelle sides during glue up. Will also back-up any filler required. Thank you DD. |

Nacelle on left after glue up, filler and one coat primer at seam. Right nacelle glue up only. Any trace of seam will provide stencil for panel line. |

Don't mind the skewed left LG, nothing glued permanent. Learned that long ago. Screening to be used for grillwork at wing root/ fuse connnection. |

Low tack scotch tape holds nacelles parts together for trial fit. Light Coor's holds Moostang together to get this far. Quite the gonad breaker. |
