| One year, my sister was in the mode of homemade birthday presents, so she asked me what I would like. I loaned her the color pic of N15011 and a Christmas card with a Cherokee picture on it and she came up with this painting, one of my most cherished birthday gifts over the years. |

| N150ll bundled up to return home from its last flight. It sat in a storage hanger for a few months until our boss sold it for salvage. One day, while visiting the remains, we decided to borrow a gas cap and the ID placard which survive today as a memento of some very happy days over a third of a century ago. |

| Later in 1975 on a rental flight a customer was a bit careless in his fuel management and set N15011 down in a pine thicket just short of the runway. He and his family walked away from the landing with minor injuries. |
