An idea I took from DD, 1-1/2" and 3/4" "tailwheel" from Great Planes to replace the kit wheels.

A different look for the Mossie. Black belly and red numerals told me this is the one. After the Lib, stay away from stripes.

DD, you were right, a real PIA to make wire work as Guillow's suggest. Two hours of planning and a little improv provided great results. Second one will be a breeze.

Shaping/sanding complete. Ready for sealer (will use white glue) then cover probably next weekend with heavy silkspan and dope. Search is ongoing for a good cockpit photo.

Test fit for the canopy. BINGO!! One coat Hobby-lite and one coat of Micro-fill worked great. One more coat MF should provide a great shape for silkspan covering.

Framing complete. Installed trim tabs and extra F1 former at wing root. Alterered the rear connection a touch but a good tight fit. Shaping next.
