With the canopy and the spinner glued in place a coat of Future is sprayed on in order to provide a glossy surface for the decals to adhere to.

Extra effort. The cabane struts wire is epoxied into the fuse to keep the proper alignment. Their tops fit into brass tubing so I can remove the wing. When the epoxy sets I can remove the wing and laminate them with wood, then add cross bracing.
