The instructions say the canopy has To be attached before adding the cowlings but that won't happen. I'll tape it in place and glue them next to, but not touching the canopy.

The plastic piece is attached with CA and the infill wood has been sanded to match the piece. Now all that's needed is some filler to make it all smooth.
