I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Painted and Futured and ready for decals. The camouflage paint was an experiment that may not be historiclally accurate, but was a successful experiment. In the future I will do differntly.

The Tripe has a lot of wing to build. Most of the major components are now built, sanded and doped and are ready for paper.

The tail feathers and the fuselage are semi-finished, doped and sanded. I think I enjoy this part of the build the most.

Kit contains a single sheet, two sided which I had copied so I could cut into pieces for easier work on my work board. The wood seems to be a little better than other guillow kits, but I've never had a big problem wih

bbaumer, Here's a picture of the airplane from WW1. Here is a link to a website showing the side of the aircraft in pretty good detail. http://www.fokkerdr1.com/Profiles/Profile%20SB10.htm

Does anyone have any illustrations of markings similar to these. This photograph is taken in a museum in Staffen germany, and is identified as Paul Baumer's (43 kills) DR1. He flew in Jasta 2. I havent researched it yet to see if we are somehow related

Lt. Ulrich Neckel stopped by the hanger today to check out his restored DR1. As you can see he is one happy winner of the Blue Max.
