More rigging today. Wires of decreasing diameter. This side's rigging is still not complete. Two rear "drag" wires are need. I had enough "Fun" for today.

Ailerons on the right side, starboard side, or off side are stitched and mounted. They must be connected. Red star added. I should have "starred" before I stitched!!! Options now... remove stitching and reinstall or install star around stitching. If I can match the red in the star, I can over paint the stitching....if not , the stars stay as they are.

Listed as the "Starboard" flying wires on the official Sopwith plan. I guess the Sopwith was more formal in direction than the USAF!!

Flying wires are double and pass thru the tip of the middle wing. On this model they are structural and really lock the wings.

Flying wires. The factory chart lists their diameter..little over an inch. More like a rod. Similar diameter on the LG and cabane wire.
