I am using Domestic dark and light blue. The fuselage is comming along, have to finish the fuselage and shrink the tissue. The tissue is applied with 50/50 Elmers and water, then when all done I will shrink with water.

At this stage the total weight with the cowlings is 11.2 ounces/ 317 grams. Oh well, it'll never fly, anyway.

The red is what has to be removed first and is easily done, gently, with a sanding block. The patina on the aluminum cowling is courtesy of 56 years sitting in a box. Priceless.
