| After a bit of this and a tad of that me thinks we have a decent hybrid. Sure would like to have an original color photo to act as a guide. I must remember that the only concrete references for both structure and color are photographs. All other painted or printed illustrations, most models, mine included, are renditions, abstract interpretations from the builders “noodle”! When the joy of opening a box of sticks and sheets of wood fails to give you the feeling of “Making something from nothing”, you know its time to find another hobby!!! Gee this tooth is a pain in the asp! |

| Slow day here today. Gumby fired the Vickers and the recoil vibration was excessive. A diagonal metal brace was installed and the vibratory problem is resolved. |

| With the companionship and technological assistance provided by my little green amorphous pal, this mundane work day resulted in structural progress toward the completion of the fuselage. The empennage has been covered in poly-span, and sealed for painting. Gumby proclaims the covering “Drum Tight” and tests it by bouncing a coin off of the poly-span. |
