We ar happy woth the way the fuselage becomes part of the rudder. Like poppy says....."when things work well, just sit back and admire it a bit!" With me I will probably drop the Mig tomorrow and destroy all this work!

The shape of the stabilizers in the Stahl flying model plan is not close enough to the real Mig. The pencil lines indicated where I will amputate, fill and shape the leading edges. The fillets between the fuse and stabilizers are also temps for a look s

I love biluding with bass wood. The "boys" install the right horizontal stabalizer. For my none flying planes I think bass wood's strength and close grain will finish easier and better than balsa.

The vert stab still needs some shaping but at least they installed it. The "wuffy" says that now the Mig looks like a whale!

Simple tab hinges will let the surfaces move but give us a shadow line detail.
