Holice's models are beautifully done, but the stands are also something else. The B-17 is the most elaborate.

I was at the Atlanta Airport and spent time at this exhibit. The planes are all 1/30 scale so there aren't any production parts. Really nice work.

The starboard side showing more applique armor. It was added over places where the shells were located for added protection. The thin strips with the holes are for adding sand skirts over the tracks. The Marine tank I am depicting didn't have the skirts, just the holders.

The tools are in place. I'll glue them in once I paint the tank. I want to get some photos of the completed tank in its raw state before I paint.

More pieces added including bolts and places to store the tools. The tool brackets and the light guards are heavy card stock. The light guards were soaked in water to loosen the fibers and hold the shape. They later were "painted" with white glue to stiffen the shapes.

Every tank needs tools. There are carved from wood. The shovel from a popsicle stick. The mattocks is two pieces.

Applique armor on the hull side, and the revised turret machine gun port. Oh, and the turret hatch is also new.

All 6 are done. Now I just need to add them to the tank. Oh, and cut out the track. Should be fun.
