Tried this mini-cable for rigging? Sizes from .010" to At least .019. Get it at a "Beading" store. They aslo stock very nice nynon, poly, and cotton very tight weave threads that are larger in Dia. (no fuzzies).

Boy did I find out about C.G. location with a lifting horizontal stab! "She's breaking-up, She's breaking up!!" ala $6 mil. Man. Got lucky though.

Finished this Oct 08 (before VA I found VA). Would have make a nice build. BMJR make laser repros of '40's on up Free Flight models. Quality is outstanding. Laser cut are very fine and honey colored, not burnt. This one I converted to RC.

Feather the edges as close to tangent to surface as possible. This way you'll have only one texture to deal with (i.e. just filler) when finishing. You're going to want to coat the back (side facing model) with CA for reinforcment to help with retaining a sharp edge while feathering the edge. Phil.

I was working on this when my son said he wanted to build something (priorities you know) so it's on the back-burner for now (sort of).

The finished fillet (well almost) fits satisfactory. There's nothing holding it there but gravity.

It was nice forming them away from the covering.

Well, how about removable fillets? I don't really know why I did 'em this way, but here's how I did them.

Box stock Guillow's bf 109. I've this kit and a fw 190 for about 35 years but never built them, till now. My son Jimmy and I are building these two together ( Jimmy turns 9yrs old in March). I do, he watches, he does.
